TENDRING JUDO CHAMPIONSHIPS (A BJA Two Star Event)
ELIGIBILITY: -
Groups 1 & 2 Competitors must be 8 years’ old and less than 12 years’ of age on the day.
Group 3 Competitors must be 12 years’ old and less than 16 years’ of age on the day.
Competitors MUST produce a valid BJA or affiliated Judo Association licence when booking in.
Please Note: - Competitors may only enter One Group
CATEGORIES:
Group 1 Boys & Girls Novices to 3rd Mon. 8 years’ old and under 12 years’ of age on the day
Group 2 Boys & Girls 4th Mon to 12th Mon. 8 years’ old and under 12 years’ of age on the day
Group 3 Boys & Girls Any Grade 12 years’ old and under 16 years’ of age on the day
WEIGHT GROUPS
Group 1 Boys u25, u27, u30, u34, u38, u42, u46, and u50kgs
Group 1 Girls u24, u26, u28, u32, u36, u40, u44, and u48kgs
Groups 2 Boys u30, u34, u38, u42, u46, u50, and u55kgs
Groups 2 Girls u32, u36, u40, u44, u48, u52, and u57kgs
Groups 3 Boys u38, u42, u46, u50, u55, u60 and over 60kgs but under 73Kgs
Groups 3 Girls u40, u44, u48, u52, u57, u63 and over 63kgs but under 78Kgs
WEIGH-IN: Group 1 08.15am to 09.00am
Group 2 09.15am to 10.00am
Group 3 11.00am to 11.45am
Male competitors must weigh in wearing their Judogi trousers and a 0.5kg allowance will be made for this. Female competitors must weigh in wearing their Judogi trousers and a white T-shirt and 0.6kg allowance will be made for this.
Method of Elimination:- Pools and Compound Knockout
Entry Fee: - Competitors £13.00 Spectators £2.00
Medals: - Gold, Silver and two Bronze medals will be awarded where numbers permit.
Rules:- Current BJA contest rules will apply any new 2007 BJA contest guidelines may be used at this event and The Decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
Weight groups may have to be amalgamated where required.
