Training Camp

Dear Player,                                                                             June 20^th 2003.

We are planning to run a three day Summer Training Camp at Kendal Judo Centre, starting Sunday evening 17^th /18^th/19^th & 20^th 2003.

The Lakeland Open Judo Championships held 16^th/17^th August will precede the Training Camp.

We have over the last few years held, very successful Winter & Summer Training Camps attended by many British Squad Players (Cadets, Juniors & Seniors) plus many foreign delegations. We believe that a Summer Camp would attract the same quality of players, giving them an unforgettable experience of Quality Judo in the pleasant surroundings of the English Lake District.

 This year the BJA Boys  Cadet Team competing in the European Cadet Championships will be using this as their final preparatory session prior to their departure to Baku in Azerbaijan.

The cost of the Training Camp is £80:00 – this price includes Accommodation at the Youth Hostel in Kendal, breakfast & evening meal also at the Youth Hostel. All travel and training costs whilst at the Camp.

You will require: Judo Kits: Running Kits; at least two pairs of trainers; Washing gear; Towels; Waterproof Top; Warm clothing; Tee Shirts; Walking Shoes/Boots if available.

The Camp will start, Sunday evening, immediately after the end of the Lakeland Open. Accommodation for all those accepted on the Camp will be at the Youth Hostel, Sunday/Monday/Tuesday nights and finish at Lunchtime Wednesday 20^th August 2003.
